Yes, this academy will have all the administrators as other elementary campuses.

Do families who already have children in the dual language program need to apply for children new to the district? (PreK or Kinder students)
- Students currently participating in the Dual Language Program in Uvalde CISD do not need to apply.
- New LEP (Limited English Proficient) students: The Dual Language program is the bilingual program for state compliance; therefore all new LEP students have direct admission to the program.
- New Non-LEP, English-Speaking Students: They need to submit an application. However, siblings of current Dual Language students at Uvalde will have priority during the application process.

No, only dual language students will be enrolled at the academy.
