ACE Program, Purpose and Goals

  • The purpose of the ACE Program is to provide a safe afterschool care environment for students along with daily homework support, academic enrichment classes, and extra-curricular opportunities. The activities and clubs selected for the program support the school-day curriculum and give students the opportunity to grow both academically and socially. Our program is staffed by certified teachers, tutors, paraprofessionals, and community members that all share the same passion to see our students succeed. The overall goal of the ACE program is to have all students graduate from high school prepared for college and the workforce. To achieve this goal, ACE’s objectives are to improve academic performance, attendance, behavior, promotion rates, graduation rates, and family involvement in student education.

The ACE program also believes that a strong partnership between home and school improves the academic success of every student. Our Family Engagement Plan provides ACE parents and families with academic learning workshops throughout the school year including parent continuing education opportunities.
