Each of these encompass research-based practices necessary for effective instructional processes.CurriculumClassrooms are required to use the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as the standards that drive instruction. The TEKS Resource System (TRS) is the resource that UCISD teachers are required to use for instruction and includes TEKS Verification Documents, the Instructional Focus Documents (IFD), Year-At-A-Glance (YAG), pacing guides, and assessments for each unit of study.
