Who needs to complete new student online enrollment (NSOE)?
Students who are not enrolled in a Uvalde CISD school in the current 2022-2023 school year need to complete new student online enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year.
Examples include new pre-k or kindergarten students or students transferring from outside of the school district. What if my child is already enrolled in Uvalde CISD?
Students who currently attend a UCISD school do not need to complete the new student online enrollment.
Instead, parents should complete the Online Returning Student Verification in Skyward Family Access for their existing UCISD students. The district will open Online Returning Student Verification the last week of July 2023.When will pre-kindergarten and kindergarten round-ups be offered?
New student online enrollment (including pre-k and kindergarten) is now available.
Parents with students who are new to the district should plan to complete the online enrollment application process. What documents will I need for enrollment?
When enrolling a student for the first time at UCISD, you will need a new student online enrollment account. Visit the New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE) portal to request an account. You will also need to provide a copy of the following document:
- Official birth certificate
- Current immunization records
- Child's social security card
- Parent's driver's license or state issued ID for identification purposes
- Last report card from the previous school (if available)
- Previous school's mailing address
- Proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, house closing statement)
- Also, it is helpful to bring TAKS, STAAR, or other standardized test results (if available)
- State Required Immunizations
How do I provide copies of the required documents?
You may upload all required documents as part of the new student online enrollment application. Please scan or photograph all required documents prior to starting the online enrollment process to expedite this process. Registrars will need clear, legible copies of your documents to process your application.
You may also provide scanned copies or photographs of required documents to the registrar by secure, encrypted email. Your campus registrar will initiate this secure process via email if you are unable to upload the documents during your online enrollment application, or if additional documentation is needed.
You can also send copies of the required documents by U.S. Mail to the address listed for the campus. Please send them "Attention: Registrar" to route them to the registrar directly. Please contact your child's campus for an in-person visit.Where can I get a certified copy of my child's birth certificate?
Official birth certificates may be obtained by calling the state health department in the state where your child was born. In Texas, you may order a birth certificate online from the Bureau of Vital Statistics, call the office in Austin at 512-458-7111, or visit the Uvalde County Clerk's office in person to obtain a Texas birth certificate. Please allow sufficient time for your request to be processed. High school students will need transcripts showing all credits earned to assist in course placement. Otherwise, class registration may be delayed until official transcripts are received from previous schools.
If you live with another family, do not have one of the documents listed, or have questions about the documents requested, please contact:Yoli Rodriguez
